Instructional Designer | Learning Experience Designer | Corporate Enablement
My professional journey into instructional design has been shaped by a strong interest in how people learn, perform, and solve problems in real-world environments. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology at the University of South Florida, where I have developed both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to designing effective learning experiences using modern technologies.
Before entering this program, I developed a deep interest in learning through my professional work in corporate enablement within the cybersecurity industry. In my current role, I design and support training programs that help go-to-market teams develop the skills and knowledge needed to communicate complex technical concepts and perform confidently in their roles. This experience has given me the opportunity to see how well-designed learning experiences can directly impact workplace performance and organizational outcomes.
Throughout the Learning Design and Technology program, I have expanded my understanding of learning theories, instructional design models, and emerging educational technologies. Coursework in areas such as learning analytics, motivational design, digital media for learning, and research methods has allowed me to explore how theory can be applied to the design of engaging and effective learning environments. I have also had the opportunity to develop projects using tools such as Articulate Storyline, multimedia design tools, and AI-supported learning technologies to create interactive learning experiences.
A key theme across my graduate work has been connecting instructional design theory with real-world practice. Many of the projects included in this portfolio reflect authentic design challenges such as developing simulation-based learning experiences, creating data-informed training solutions, and designing technology-enhanced learning environments. These projects demonstrate my ability to analyze learning problems, design targeted instructional solutions, and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions.
This portfolio represents both my academic growth and my professional development as an instructional designer. The artifacts included here demonstrate how I apply the principles of educational technology, learning science, and instructional design to create meaningful learning experiences.
Looking ahead, I hope to continue designing innovative learning solutions that combine emerging technologies, data-informed decision making, and sound pedagogical practice. My goal is to contribute to organizations and learning communities by developing training and educational experiences that empower learners and improve performance.
